Paris's 12th arrondissement is located on the Right Bank of the Seine River. The 12th arrondissement is one of Paris's largest arrondissements. This rather residential arrondissement was actually separated from the city of Paris throughout most of its history and includes few monuments properly speaking. Indeed, most of its monuments are recent. Principal monuments and sites: the Opéra Bastille, the Gare de Lyon railway station, Bercy, the Bois de Vincennes, the Vincennes Zoo, the Foire du Trône fun fair, the Avenue Daumesnil, the Avenue de Picpus, the Rue Montgallet (specialized in low-cost computing shops), etc.
